Boynton Angels is a group of Angel investors focused on investing in seed and expansion stage companies with a particular focus on endeavors located within a two-hour radius of Worcester, Massachusetts. We believe that Central Massachusetts is rich in opportunities for economic growth, yet it is financially underserved.
Membership meetings are held each month (from September through June) where we hear from one or two pre-screened investment opportunities. We rely on our fellow members for common sense questions as well as business expertise and due diligence, but each member makes an individual investment decision. Boynton Angels believe that on-going education is critical to making good investments. Occasionally, we invite speakers or panels to membership meetings to present topics pertinent to Angel investing.
Boynton Angels fills an important and ever-growing gap in the funding needs of emerging companies. Deals in the $500K to $2MM range that were once the dominion of venture capitalists are now funded by Angel groups.
For entrepreneurial teams, Boynton Angels can be a resource of investor capital to help bring your company to the next stage of its growth.
For Angel investors, Boynton Angels serves as a community to share ideas and learn other's approaches to investing. Investors hear of a higher proportion of qualified opportunities, and spend less time listening to unqualified capital seekers. Boynton Angels members are able to participate in the due diligence process, evaluate the results of due diligence, and make their own personal investment decisions.

At United Bank, our vision is to pursue excellence in all things with respect to our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities we serve. But the ‘pursuit of excellence’ is more than just words for the United Bank Team. It’s the highest bar we’ve set for ourselves and what we vigorously strive to achieve every day inside the Bank and out in the community.
United Bank has become the place where new and existing customers will benefit from local, highly-responsive decision-making. It’s one of the many reasons why United is a great alternative to the mega banks. In fact, customer service and loyalty is so important to us that we constantly measure our customers’ banking experience so we can identify what we’re doing well and what areas where we need to improve. We also want to make sure you receive access to the type of personalized banking you deserve.

Soon after we opened Mezcal, Southwestern-Mexican-Tequila. Next came The Citizen at One Exchange Place to add to Worcester's changing downtown landscape. Growth at Exchange Place led to the opening of The People's Kitchen above The Citizen with a "home cooked meal" approach We round out the concepts at the "NicheXchange" property with Still&Stir, a professional cocktail bar showcasing our passion for quality spirits and the art of bartending. What started out as a dream has become a surreal reality!
