Joe Vignaly, Chair

Principal, Business Strategy Consulting Partners

Joe Vignaly founded Business Strategy Consulting Partners to help technology companies take their solutions to market by providing insights and guidance on strategy, sales and marketing topics.  Joe leverages his 25+ years of experience in leadership roles in marketing, strategy and business development for start-ups and multi-national corporations. His operational experience includes successfully leading several "intrapreneurial" ventures driving over $30 million in annual revenue.  Joe has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from WPI and an MBA from Babson College.  He is also a member of the Boynton Angels.

Phil Cyr, Vice Chair

President, Longden Company


Phil is the President at Longden Company. Longden is a specialty environment contractor that installs raised access flooring systems, computer server rooms, and cleanrooms.  Longden is one of the largest Tate Access Floor dealers in the country.  He previously worked as a General Manager at Interstate Specialty Products, the leading converter and distributor of custom solutions for Science and Industry. He was VP of Business Development of R.H. White Companies for ten years and also worked as VP and General Manager of Spirol International.  Phil earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as his MBA at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  

Richard F. Powell, Treasurer

Senior Vice President with Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli, P.C.


Rick Powell, CPA, CGMA is a Senior Vice President with Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli, P.C. and has over 30 years of experience offering accounting, tax and advisory services to closely held businesses. His clients range from start-ups to multi-national organizations. He has volunteered as a mentor and judge in business plan contests and has worked with several organizations in assisting them with formalizing their business plans. Rick is Treasurer of The Venture Forum and Better Business Bureau of Central New England. He is a member of the Finance Committee of the Council of Better Business Bureaus in Arlington, VA. He is also a board member of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. In 2010, Rick was named to the transition team of the Massachusetts State Auditor-Elect.

Ed Leary, Marketing Chair



Edward J. Leary, CPA, CFE, CFP has over 25 years of experience providing audit and tax services to privately held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and ERISA benefit plans.  Ed also conducts fraud investigations and consulting engagements for client’s seeking to maximize the effectiveness of their accounting departments and internal controls.  Ed works closely with clients and their Boards of Directors, helping them efficiently meet their internal and external reporting obligations. Ed services a diverse clientele in accounting, management consulting and financial reporting matters, including those in the manufacturing, software, technology, and foodservice industries.  Ed received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Suffolk University and is a member of the AICPA,  MSCPA, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and SBANE.  Ed serves on the Accounting and Auditing Committee of the Mass Society of CPAs, and is actively involved with the WPI Venture Forum, the MIT Venture Forum, and other area organizations devoted to the emerging business sector.  Ed conducts seminars for leading area CFOs and CEOs, and has been published in The Journal of Accountancy and The Tax Advisor.

Tanya Dumrongmanee, Program Committee

Technical Program Management, Dell EMC

Tanya Dumrongmanee has over a decade of experience bringing operational efficiencies to industries such as e-commerce, higher education, information technology, and manufacturing. She has led cross-functional and global teams in projects such as product development, customer advocacy, program modeling, ERP system implementation, supplier management, process improvement, Series C funding, and go-to-market.

Tanya earned her Master of Business Administration from Babson College and now works at Dell EMC, where she manages internal and external ecosystem programs for the data protection division. In her spare time, Tanya partners with entrepreneurial organizations on business advancement initiatives. She is originally from California and currently resides in New England.

Richard H. Prince, Secretary/Clerk


Richard Prince has managed manufacturing businesses across the globe, from Japan to the United Kingdom and the United States. Part owner and manager of an international manufacturer of industrial personal protective equipment, he has 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, plus 10 years as a manufacturing consultant and five years of involvement in mergers and acquisitions. Dick earned a BS in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Clark University.

Ron Fraser joined Federal National in March 2015 as Vice President, Senior Business Development Officer based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Mr. Fraser has been working in banking and commercial finance for over 25 years, with over 15 years in factoring and asset based lending in the Northeast. Previously, Mr. Fraser worked with various public and private banks and commercial finance companies. He is focused on new business development and building relationships with referral partners. His experience with rapid growth companies over the years gives him insight in developing solutions and strategies to improve cash flow for growth. Mr. Fraser is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Venture Forum.
