Ron Fraser is Vice President at Avidia Bank with headquarters in Hudson MA, Mr. Fraser has been working in banking and commercial finance for over 25 years, with over 15 years in factoring and asset based lending in the Northeast. Previously, Mr. Fraser worked with various public and private banks and commercial finance companies. He is focused on new business development and building relationships with referral partners. His experience with rapid growth companies over the years gives him insight in developing solutions and strategies to improve cash flow for growth. Mr. Fraser is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association and The Venture Forum. Mr. Fraser is the Vice President for the Worcester Rotary Club and is a Director for the 365Z foundation. Mr. Fraser is a graduate of Assumption College.

Richard F. Powell, Treasurer

Rick Powell, CPA, CGMA is a Senior Vice President with Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli, P.C. and has over 30 years of experience offering accounting, tax and advisory services to closely held businesses. His clients range from start-ups to multi-national organizations. He has volunteered as a mentor and judge in business plan contests and has worked with several organizations in assisting them with formalizing their business plans. Rick is Treasurer of The Venture Forum and Better Business Bureau of Central New England. He is a member of the Finance Committee of the Council of Better Business Bureaus in Arlington, VA. He is also a board member of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. In 2010, Rick was named to the transition team of the Massachusetts State Auditor-Elect.

Richard H. Prince, Secretary/Clerk


Richard Prince has managed manufacturing businesses across the globe, from Japan to the United Kingdom and the United States. Part owner and manager of an international manufacturer of industrial personal protective equipment, he has 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, plus 10 years as a manufacturing consultant and five years of involvement in mergers and acquisitions. Dick earned a BS in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Clark University.

Scott Sutter, Chair of Events


Scott Sutter is the President and founder of Strategic Risk Transfers Inc – a Worcester-based commercial liability insurance agency, whose operational footprint extends from the Canadian border, to southern New Jersey. Strategic Risk specifically seeks out businesses that have outgrown their local insurance agencies and do not want to be treated like a number by a larger insurance brokerage. Scott is also the President of the Southern New England Athletic Association, where he is the world-leading pioneer of the indoor marathon concept. He is also an active board member of the Hartsprings Foundation and is a member of the Recreation Committee for the Town of Somers, Connecticut. Scott graduated from The Citadel; The Military College of South Carolina in 2001.
