He is also a board member of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. In 2010, Rick was named to the transition team of the Massachusetts State Auditor-Elect.

Part owner and manager of an international manufacturer of industrial personal protective equipment, he has 35 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, plus 10 years as a manufacturing consultant and five years of involvement in mergers and acquisitions. Dick earned a BS in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from Clark University.
