Regional growth is on the agenda for the new season of Venture Forum events. Tim Murray, former Lt. Governor and current President of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, will be co-keynote speaker together with Worcester City Manager Michael O’Brien at the September 10 Venture Forum meeting.
Well-versed in economic development efforts at the state level, Murray will share his plans to pursue the Chamber's vision of enhancing the region's economic prosperity and the vitality of its business community. Central to those plans are collaborative efforts with The Venture Forum and other groups to support business growth in Worcester and the MetroWest area. O’Brien will continue the discussion with his experiences, since 2004, pursuing an aggressive economic development agenda for New England’s second-largest city.
